collaboration for net-zero emissions

The parts that make up the whole

Government – Balancing a swift change to realistic green energies and recyclable products – with the speed of reliance on carbon heavy industries.

Business – Cleaner production that has end to end sustainability.

The individual and greater society – Buying Power – Living with essentials – The food we eat – The clothes we wear – Protecting fellow life on earth.

Net-zero emissions can be achieved through collaboration between governments, businesses and the wider society.Net-zero emissions can be achieved through collaboration between governments, businesses and the wider society.Net-zero emissions can be achieved through collaboration between governments, businesses and the wider society.

Buying Power

Collectively we have enormous influence on consumerism. The power of 'trending' can sway businesses towards more environmentally sound goods - from the clothes we wear to the food we eat.

Think useful

We are becoming creative with re purposing yet still using plastic bin liners, cans and bottles for drinks, throw away coffee cups and what seems to be ignored...nappies. Parents please encourage your children to be out of nappies by 2 years old.

Choices

Simple changes in our decision making encourages new start ups - from fresh locally produced foods to paper packaging or reusable fruit and veg bags - it's not that difficult.

Travel

Don't go "where no man has gone before" Exploring the outer reaches of the planet may be cool but better left totally undisturbed. The eco system does fantastically well when left unmanaged, all by itself.

Less is more

A little overused but now all too poignant and never more urgent than at this present time. Less food waste, better quality clothes, furniture, appliances all with a bit in longer life. Many households full of items and gadgets that are entirely unnecessary.

Balance

The balance of everything - with one shift in any part of life effects so many others. For example if we push out carbon fuels at a rapid pace, thousands of people will loose their livelihoods, sub contractors and local businesses... entire towns.
